J:
Hello everyone. Not a huge amount of news to report, some random snippets of events:
Johnnie fell off his bunkbed (the safety bar is not a trapeze) onto his head, which bled profusely. He went to St Catharines General Hospital in an ambulance even though he was really fine. We have to pay $45 for the ambulance ride.
Rosie went on school trips to Toronto on consecutive days last week – the Royal Ontario Museum and Canada’s Wonderland (imagine Chessington World of Adventure, multiply by 50). She was tired.
We think George might possess the power of speech. But we’re not sure.
Steak here is very, very nice.
My barbecue is out of propane already.
We have our convention in two weeks time. It will intimate and indoors. We’re staying in a hotel about 15 minutes from the arena. I have been asked to do a soliloquy in Dad’s item on Friday, and I am hoping to be able to help out on the Public Address team.
We are in negotiations to buy a house that we really, really like. It’s a bit of a longshot though. If we get it we will of course post some photos.
Speaking of photos, here are some shots we’ve taken over the last few months:
- Daisy and Rena
- Daisy and a friend – Dylan
- Rebecca loves daffs, that’s why she’s so daffy
- Overlooking the Niagara gorge – Rebecca, Rena and George

Hi Jason
Poor Johnnie. Hope all is well with him now. Did he enjoy the special treatment? Give him a hug from me & tell him he needs to use the right equipment next time for his trapeze act. Deniro lost one of his front teeth on Sunday. It was shaking, but my niece threw the ball to him and accidentally hit him in the mouth and knocked the tooth out and like Johnnie, he bled profusely, but is fine.
Wow!! Chessington x 50 sounds fantastic, I am sure that I would be tired had I gone there too. Love to Rosie.
Let us know when George gets going in the speech dept. I am sure you will be entertained when he does. Give my love to him.
Let us know how the Convention goes, especially the part you have on your Dad’s item. As you know, we’re inside for the 1st time for our Convention this year and we’re all looking forward to it very much.
We’re all behind you, rooting for you to get the house you love. Hope it works out.
Give my love to Rebecca, Daisy, George & Rose.
Warm Christian Love
Verline
P.S. Really enjoyed the pictures. Keep em coming.
